One of the main reasons a small business fails is due to under capitalization. The United States is still the "land of opportunity," but it takes money to start and maintain a business venture. If you run out of money before you have sustained sufficient cash flow to survive, you either go out of business or take on debt to help keep things afloat.
Knowing how to find money, and then qualify for it, can be a tricky thing for many entrepreneurs. The Center is teaming up with a number of traditional and non-traditional lenders to help provide access and educate entrepreneurs on what they need to know regarding financing, debt and loan service. Every month we will have classes on the basics of money management and the loan application/submission process.
